The greatest source of knowledge will always be the other members of your local club, I only have EMHC as a reference, but with my years there I know if I have a problem, I can always put the word about with the other lads and they will hold the answers. Its always better to have a choice of options than no options at all !!When it comes to hints and tips with the safe day to day running of R/C heli Give www.EHMC.uk.com a ganders, Joe Does a great job of posting all the members knowledge there. The only thing I will say here now is, you will only get out what you put in, a rush job of building a model on a Saturday night will only give you a disappointing days flying on the Sunday,Take your time to check and recheck, Measure twice and Cut once as they say, If you are in any doubt about any part of your model even in the case of new from the box, Change it and have it checked, Just because its new doesn't mean it is not at fault.Ensure you understand the difference between Cyno and Epoxy for example, Red and Blue thread lock can make a whole heap of difference, Too weak and your model may fall apart in the sky, Too Strong and you may damage a part in replacement or service. And after all is said and done....... A man who asks may feel foolish for a moment, the man who doesn't ask stays foolish for a lifetime. There will always be that someone who knows more than you, use it to your advantage, life's not a competition................................... as long as your wining !!!!! |
